Shepherd Goes Green

Shepherd of the Valley is thrilled to announce the completion of its much anticipated "Field of Dreams," a new 13,000 square foot area to be used for physical education, after-school sports programs, movie nights, and church and school picnics, amongst other outdoor activities. After two years of fundraising and generous donations from many members of the SOV community, the new field has been installed and is ready for use!

The field will remain green year-round, but is additionally "green" in another sense-it requires no chemicals for maintenance and drastically reduces water consumption. It is easy to see that our green field is truly a "dream!" Thank you to all who have supported this important endeavor.

		motivates each child to excel The curriculum at Shepherd of the Valley provides children with a sound foundation in all core subject areas. Graduating students are well-prepared for middle school, private or public.	fosters within each child a love of Christ A close relationship between church and school allows Shepherd of the Valley's students to receive the best in religious faith formation. Through classroom religious instruction, weekly chapel worship, and units taught by the pastors, students are taught the basics of our Christian faith as well as its practical application to their everyday life.
